On to security.... uuuuugh. Hmm. no lines and totally quick. Then to passport control- LOOONG lines. then through duty free, which we really don't get. What's the point? I actually hit the Disco grocery before we left to grab a bunch of medialunas and some Havana Alfajores (Edgardo clued me in on these cookies, thankfully. To die for!) but the cookies were like $7 US in the store and like $20 in "duty free". I don't get it.
We had a pretty uneventful flight to Miami, thankfully and grabbed a coffee for the first time in weeks at a Starbucks, only this time Greg ordered me a Misto, which is essentially a cafe con leche or cafe au lait. :)
Back to freezing Indy and parenthood.
We had such an amazing time. I never in a million years would have thought that we would visit Argentina, it wasn't on my radar at all. But fortunately, Greg's coaching career called him to BA and I am very happy I followed. (His team took the Silver by the way! Go USA! We really want to go back again at some point and do the touring side of Argentina. But personally, I am so glad we spent some much time in the actual city of BA, I really think we could have spent even more as there are things we didn't get to do/see. I am also super happy we did the delta trip, it's not very common for Americans and it's really talked about/reviewed. Totally different feel from BA and totally close.
Things I will really miss from BA:
medialunas- like a cross between a croissant and pan dulce, but better than either. It's pretty heavy and just a touch of cinnamon. I had 1-2 practically every morning. Perfect with coffee.dulce de leche- this creamy carmel-like sauce is everywhere and served with anything sweet. This was my order of flan with dulce de leche, it's like the same size! soooo yummy! I actually found a can at the grocery store here by Nestle. It's good, but thicker and not as creamys the good stuff in AR.

al queso queso- We cracked up when we saw this store, but quickly feel in love. It's wine and all things that go with it; bread, marinated olives, hard cheese and meats. It's a chain and we found them all the time while we were wandering the streets. It's fun to say it really fast too. ;) We liked it mucho mucho!
Volta!!! I don't know what to do now. I am no where near a Volta and now I have been spoiled forever more. Regular ice cream just won't make the cut, not even my beloved Ben and Jerry's. seriously.Jamon- Yes, AR is the land of Beef, but don't let them fool you! It's also the land of Ham! It's on everything and is super delicious. They also had some many tasty dry, hard sausage type meats in dishes.
Empanadas- These were all savory, not the sweet dessert ones I've had here. And these little pies were so perfect for a light meal, little snack, whatever. They actually deliver them in BA like pizza.
Green Olives- They put them in everything and on everything. I am a big fan now and will use them tons now in my cooking.
So yes the food will be the biggie for me, but also I will miss my glowing skin. I swear, my skin loves the tropical humidity. It hadn't look that good in years, my rosacea basically disappeared and I had no need for makeup. The slight tan also helped, but seriously, I am in the wrong region.
The walking. I loooove being in a big city and walking everywhere. We ate and ate and ate some more, but I actually got thinner on my trip. BA lends itself so much to just walking around the city, so many green spaces. Also, since the cabs were so cheap, you go walk until you were tired and just cab it home.

You are SUCH a blogger. Have you considered keeping a blog regularly? We PR people tend to target "mommy bloggers" with free stuff pretty often...haha.
